Owner Mark Cuban does Bob-n-Weave on Dancing With the STARS
Dancing With The STARS fans and MAVS fans
Last night, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban particiapted in Part 2 on Dancing With The STARS. Go Mark, boogey on down. During this episode, the contestants were interviewed. In the beginning of the interview with Mark Cuban, he is perched with his feet on the desk. Then he performs the "Bob-n-Weave", a dance move first introduced by the one and only Boogey Bob at a Mavericks game in 2005. Owner Marck Cuban spotted me in the crowd dancing and saw this original move. Next thing I know, I am on the jumbotron and being invited back to a Maverick game. The "Bob-n-Weave" then was made popular because Dirk Nowitzki did it as he walking back on the court. The "Bob-n-Weave" has become famous in Dallas and is the signature move that identifies Boogey Bob. Thanks Mark for showing the national TV audience the "Bob-n-Weave.

Dance Contes #3 - Trombone Guy
First I want to thank all the fans who cheered, screamed and hollered for me in the dance contest. I am truly amazed at how many people voted for me. Thank you very much.
Well, I was invited to another dance contest at the Memphis game in February. The contestants were Trombone guy, couple of comic book character (thik it was superman & spiderman) a girl with a Dirk poster and myself. The trombone guy who performed at last years NBA Finals game 1 last year had performed at halftime. The comic book characters were anxious and the girl was just wondering how she was going to dance with life size Dirk poster. I had no idea I would be in the contest when I arrived at the game. One of the hoop troup guys came to me during the 2nd quarter to see if I would participate. I said yes of course.
During the 3rd / 4th quarter break, the contest was on. This time I was going to be the last to dance. After being in two contests before I knew what to expect and finally was not so nervous. Try getting in front of 18,000 fans and not be nervous. It is hard until you get use to the adrenaline. The trombone guy got a great song to dance, "Are You Ready For This", the first comic character tried to do the running man, the second comic character was to nervous to do much and the girl got "Love Me Tender" an Elvis classic. Frankly, I don't remember what song I got, when the music started I just went. I used the two two new dance moves for this year (Toothbrush and Shampoo). The crowd seem to love it. The applause was fantastic. The girl got some applause. The comic character got booed. Then the last voting was for the Trombone guy. It was a close vote. The trombone guy was awarded the jersey.
Afterwards, many fans said to me that they thought I won. Whose to say who really won! It seemed like the crowd was loud for me. Oh well, at least I got to compete. It sure was nice hearing from the fans that they thought I won. I really appreciate the support. Trombone guy comes and goes, but Boogey Bob will always be a Maverick fan. So in the end it really does not matter. Boogey Bob is a MFFL.
A new slogan actuall came of the contest. Boogey Girls and Boogey Girls For LIfe (BGFL). This was proposed by Ashley and Julie that are Boogey Bob fans. They actually wanted to have a T-shirt that said BGFL. I am not sure if there is any interest in a BGFL T-shirt, but if there is interest then send me an email. Perhaps if there is enough interest I can have some made up.
Until the next dance contest.

"The Shampoo"
Hello MAVERICK fans.
While working out during the summer, I met a person going to college that was interested in the dancing of Boogey Bob. They asked if I had seen the shopping cart, the lawn mower and the sprinkler. I replied that I had seen them and used the sprinkler. Then they asked if I had seen the shampoo and I replied no I had not seen it. I asked them to show me, so I could see. The next thing you know I had a new dance move for the upcoming season. I have added a few things to what this person showed me. In the early fall, I showed a few co-workers and a few other people that knew about Boogey Bob thing. At first, some liked it and smiled. As I began to modify the move and add things, people reacted with laughter. This is a sure sign that it is a good dance move.
In November at the Chicago game, I broke out the shampoo and the crowd roared. Aahh, a success new move for the new season. Hopefully, everybody will catch on and it will become a big hit like "The Shovel" and the "Bob and Weave".

Tooth Brush Debut
Hi Mavs fans
If you were at the Charlotte game on Tuesday (12-26), then you got to see the debut of the the tooth brush dance move. This is a new move for this year. It starts out with two hands brushing the front teeth. Then there is a forward and backward motion to simulate brushing the upper and lower molars. Finally ending with the flossing of the teeth. The crowd seemed to like it as they laughed, which is how I know that it fits.
Happy New Year

" The Fibulator "
Thanks for fans like Greg and Scott, there will be a new move coming called "The Fibulator". Scott had the idea and Greg showed me a version. Then in the old number 7 club, I tried it out and made a few adjustments. Greg said, "That's it make it your own". A little more practice is needed, but the jest of the basic move is in place. Greg, Scott and I decided to make a quick mpeg trying this this new move out. Send an email and I can reply back. The fans in the old number 7 thought it was pretty cool.
